"Big Blue Marble" Photography Show Opening Reception November 14, 2008

Join us for a drink, some appetizers, and great photographs as WSP offers the best of DC area Camera Club member’s work in a show titled “Big Blue Marble.”

The opening reception on 11/14 will be part of the Bethesda ArtWalk and FotoWeek DC

WSP will present the work of NASA photographer Bill Ingalls. Bill has traveled the world photographing missions for NASA. His assignments have taken him from familiar locations, such as the Kennedy Space Center, to the inside of an active volcano in Alaska; the Oval Office; the inside of a DC-8, flying through a hurricane; the hearing rooms of Capitol Hill, to the brutally cold Kazakh steppes.

This show will be featured as part of the Bethesda ArtWalk that night. WSP takes part in this monthly art open house for the public, as one of 15 venues that people can drop by, have some wine and snacks, and view select art by national and regional photographers, painters, sculptors, and more. There is a free shuttle bus running from venue to venue.
