Saturday, June 26th, 2010, from 1:00 PM- 4:30 PM, Hayward Public Library, 835 C St. @ Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. (2 blocks from Hayward BART. ) No pre-registration required for this free event.
This workshop is taught by a Bicycle safety instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists. You will learn the basic rules of the road for bicyclists, how to dress, helmet fitting, equipping your bike, using transit, safety info., being visible on the road, & communicating with motorists with actions & signals. This class is given by the East Bay Bicycle Coalition. Please do not bring your bicycle into the library for this program. Contact 510-881-7980 for info.
