BHCC September Business Breakfast September 25, 2008

Anne Martin, General Manager of Brighton Pier will be joining us for our September breakfast to share stories of one of the city’s iconic landmarks and attractions.

Anne has worked for organisations such as Forte, Holiday Parks and Bourne Leisure who own Butlins and Haven. She was headhunted five years ago to be Operations Director for the Noble Organisation’s Resorts Division which includes Brighton Pier. In recent years and currently, she focuses solely on management of the pier.

Throughout her working life Anne’s focus has always been on team training and development and she believes the best ideas always come from those on the ‘shop floor’. An advocate of the ‘practice what you preach’ philosophy in terms of initiatives and commitment to service, Anne has a lot to share with us about the workings of one of the key businesses at the heart of the Brighton tourist trade.
