Beyond the Polls Panel Discussion November 1, 2008

An honest politician is an oxymoron in American politics. Poetry Politics And The Polls is a series of events dedicated to bringing that truth to the political dialogue. We are on the verge on the biggest presidential election in the history of the country. We are in the midst of the biggest economic collapse since the Great Depression. It is more important now, than ever, to be informed about the world around you. On Nov 1, 2008, Poetry Politics & The Polls will present a panel discussion to address some the issues that we as Black people and Americans face going forward. We have assembled a distinguished panel of artist/activist to address some of these topics.
