Betty Seid - New Narratives: Contemporary Art From India July 29, 2007

This exhibition will be the first in the U.S. to feature works of the 21st century created in India, with many pieces coming straight from the studios of artists in various cities of the subcontinent. It unveils a fresh perspective on the rich cultural traditions and artistic independence through approximately 60 paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, video and new media works by 21 artists.
