Beth Hart rose to fame on the back of her massive 1999 hit LA Song. Succumbing to well-publicised problems with alcohol, in 2003 she successfully launched one of modern music's great come backs with the universally-acclaimed album Leave The Light On. Incorporating Hart's life-well-lived musical maturity with a blend of mid-60s R&B and a Taupin-esque lyricism, it exploited her bluesy voice and experiences of the darker side to the full. This gutsy, sexy artist has gone from strength to strength and visits Manchester on the back of her new album Dust Bowl.
