Best of Photography and Film From the George Eastman House Collection January 3, 2009

Drawn from the world-renowned collections of George Eastman House in Rochester, New York, 'The Best of Photography and Film' is a 150-work exhibition that presents a wide-ranging selection of popular and recognized works from the history of photography. The exhibition explores photography from 1839 daguerreotypes to September 11, 2001. The film component of the exhibition includes film clips, celebrity portraits, motion picture stills, lobby cards and movie posters for early films made before 1923.
