Continents shall form, empires will fall, stars slowly die and burst into incredible supernova. Synonymous with these, it is inevitable that Ben Ward shall pass reluctantly into his mid-twenties.

Shed not a tear, nor sweat, nor blood! Rewrite not your holy texts! Sacrifice not your goats or miscellaneous farmyard beast! Instead, stand proud and celebrate the passing of man to marginally-less-young man.
Listen not to cynics who may decry the festivity; ‘Why, at 24 he's still younger than most of you!’ shall whine the naysayer. Grant ignorance to him and her, listen instead to me, for it is written:

Are you coming out?

There is a plan.

We'll be meeting up at The Crown on the corner of New Oxford Street (that's The Crown, not the The Old Crown…). Nearest Tubes are Tottenham Court Road and Holborn. Covent Garden is not far away, either. It's Friday night, so everything will be busy and The Crown has a big outdoor area to spill into until it thins out.

Plan is to be there all night. Until 11pm. So not quite all night. But some of it.

For 11pm, we move to The Queen is Dead club night at the The Borderline (Orange Yard off Manette Street, off Charing Cross Road). There's a band (coincidentally named ‘1984’) playing at midnight.
