Originally from Israel, Benny Sharoni emigrated to the United States to study jazz at Berklee College, and has been a mainstay on the U.S. and international jazz scenes ever since. He has shared the stage with numerous jazz greats, including Danilo Perez, Larry Coryell, Joshua Redman, George Garzone and Esperanza Spaulding. His music is an energetic blend of straight ahead bop with Latin infusions, with a focus on warm, melodic tones.
