AN OPERATIC GHOST STORY…
Like Verdi, Mozart, and Wagner before him, Benjamin Britten brings an extraordinary sense of theatre to his musical treatment of complex subjects. A perfect example of this is his penultimate opera Owen Wingrave, a haunting story about family, war, and expectations. Toronto born Rebecca Caine, most famous for originating the role of Cosette in Les Misérables, will be performing the role of Mrs. Coyle.

Sung in English with English supertitles. Apx. running time: 2hrs, 30mins including one intermission.
