Girls’ LEAP (Lifetime Empowerment and Awareness Program) presents “Lifting the Voices of LEAP,” an evening of jazz music and art to celebrate the organization’s 10th Anniversary. The benefit event will feature performances by singer/songwriter Jennifer Kimball, and Jazz Harpist Deborah Henson-Conant and be hosted by Robin Young of NPR’s “Here and Now.”
A live, self-defense demonstration will be presented by young women that have participated in LEAP’s programming.
Live and silent auctions will be held throughout the evening, with prizes including Skybox Red Sox tickets, a vacation in Truro, fine jewelry, original artworks, gift certificates, and much more.
Tickets are $50 in advance, $60 at the door with all proceeds to benefit Girls LEAP self-defense and life skills programs for at-risk girls in the Greater Boston area.
