Benefit for Va. Sustainable Agriculture Documentary Project November 15, 2010

Sprout Market and Cafe holds a fundraising event benefitting the Virginia Sustainable Agriculture Documentary Project, a photographic documentary of local and sustainable food production in central Virginia.

In addition to great local food, there will also be live music throughout the evening. From 6-8, Richmond’s Susannah and Chandler will play old-time American music on guitar and fiddle -- familiar sounds to those who have heard the duo performing at area farmers markets. From 8-10, singer-songwriter Gina Sobel will perform her unique blend of soulful blues, earthy folk and rhythmic jazz.

Sprout is pledging 10% of food sales during the evening to the Kickstarter campaign to help publish the Virginia Sustainable Agriculture Documentary Project book. Pledges will also be accepted throughout the event.
