There’s nothing like partying for a good cause, so get over to the Freight & Salvage Friday April 5th and get down with Olive and the Dirty Martinis, along with Girl Named T, while at the same time to doing a good turn for the Rex Foundation!

Olive and the Dirty Martinis play rock 'n' roll with gusto and passion. They’re an eclectic bunch from a wide range of backgrounds, but they all love to rock 60's and 70's classics with a good dancing beat.

San Francisco-based Girl Named T sings indie-pop tunes with a sweet combination of lightness and authority. This is her drummer Ben Burney's last show with the band, so let's send him off in style! 10-minute drum solo guaranteed.

ABOUT THE REX FOUNDATION:
This Bay Area nonprofit was founded in 1983 by the Grateful Dead and friends to help secure a healthy environment, promote individuality in the arts, protect indigenous people and their cultures, and provide support for the less fortunate.

Since Jerry Garcia died in 1995 and the Dead ceased touring, the main source of funding for Rex decreased greatly. But thanks to the support of our community and the artists who entertain them, Rex can continue to further the tradition of grassroots giving.
