Benefit Concert for Vibe of Portland!! - 'Come Gather Round Us' May 15, 2010

Vibe of Portland's office is located inside Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church and is partnering with TaborSpace to provide art classes to the many pre-schoolers that are a part of this community through 'Pint Size Picasso'! Help TaborSpace support this incredible organization by attending a benefit concert this Saturday!!
Local musicians Catherine Feeney and Sebastian Rogers are part of the band, “Come Gather Round Us”. Joining with them are several other musical guests for a wonderful evening of music.
All proceeds from the event will go directly towards Vibe’s classes at Harrison Park.

Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit that believes that art and music can life-inspire and beautify us all. This is why they provide an environment where Portland’s youth can discover, experience and learn about their own artistic passions.

Vibe launched classes in the Fall of 2008 at Binnsmead Middle School (off 87th and SE Division) after school in conjunction with the SUN Schools program. Vibe provides mentoring in music and the visual arts through our Music Foundations, Beyond Guitar Hero and Arts Foundations classes. All interested students are welcome, regardless of socioeconomic status. Currently there are over 20 students participating in Vibe’s classes!
