Suite 285 Austin, Texas 78750 (North-west Austin) Located at Anderson Mill Road and Hwy 183 in the Anderson Arbor Shopping Center behind the Cheddars and Red Robin. Belly Dance 101 is a 4-week course, April 26 to May 17.This one-hour class willincludebreak-down and drills of basic belly dance movements. Perfect for NEW STUDENTS or as a refresher for more experienced students.

Pre-registration is required. New students can join at the start of any component, space allowing. No experience necessary. No membership required. Tuition $60 per 4-week session. Discount available for members of Body Business.

Mondays 6:45pm - Starts Monday, April 27Beginner Belly Dance at Body BusinessMonday Location: "The Studio" at Body Business*2700 W Anderson Lane (North-central Austin)This is an 8-week course, April 27 to June 22 with no class on May 25 in observation of Memorial Day. This one-hour class will cover a progressive curriculum of basic belly dance movements. Each class includes a warm-up, strengthening exercises, training drills for stationary and traveling steps and an introduction to dancing a DRUM SOLO!

Pre-registration is required. New students can join at the start of any component, space allowing. No experience necessary. No membership required. Tuition $120 per 8-week session. Discount available for members of Body Business.

Mondays 8:00pm - Starts Monday, April 6
Intermediate Belly Dance at Body BusinessMonday Location: "The Studio" at Body Business*2700 West Anderson Lane (North-central Austin)Part TWO of TWO in a 16-week series. This one-hour class will cover a progressive curriculum of belly dance movements and concepts with a focus on preparing for a solo performance. Over the course of 16-weeks, you will gain all the tools you need to plan for and successfully perform your solo dance with confidence! Topics include music selection, costuming, choreography, improvisation, poise & presentation,overcoming stage fright, selecting a dance name, and preparing for yourshow. At the end of the course, you will have the option to perform your piece for a supportive and enthusiastic audience of your class mates and friends.

Pre-registration is required. Students should have completed all four components of the Beginner series or comparable training with another instructor. No membership required. Registration is accepted in 8-week or 16-week increments. Tuition $120 per 8-week increment. Discount available for members of Body Business.

*SPECIAL NOTE ON MONDAY LOCATION: Classes are held in The Studio at Body Business which has a separate entrance form the mail gym. The Studio is located in the north-east corner of the Village Shopping center; turn in between Fudruckers restaurant and Office Depot. You do not need to go to the main gym entrance.

All classes are for adult women only. Attire: comfortable clothing, bare feet or dance slippers, hip scarves, veils and finger cymbals can be purchased or borrowed in class.

Absence & Cancellation: Learning Belly Dance requires dedication and practice. You will only get out what you put in. With this in mind, please limit absence to a maximum of once per session. Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Bahaia of Austin, Texas is a belly dance performer, instructor, and promoter with over 15 years of experience. Bahaia performs at community events, corporate functions and family celebrations. She offers weekly classes and private lessons for all levels and seminars on technique and choreography throughout the USA and annually in Jamaica. Bahaia hosts annual belly dance seminars and retreats in Central Texas. She is also the founder & president of the Aria Dance Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicatedto promoting belly dance as art.
