Belly Dance and All That Jazz; A Sunday Showcase at Cecil’s in West Orange, NJ. January 11, 2009

Morgiana’s Sunday showcase of Middle Eastern Dance is back. Still on the second Sunday of each month; but now held at Cecil’s Jazz Club & Restaurant in West Orange, NJ starting at 5:00pm. The new name reflects the eclectic range of dance styles presented including classical oriental, folkloric, as well as fusion and interpretive dance pieces. The Sunday Showcase features NJ dancers and teachers of Middle Eastern dance and their students. The January 11 showcase features performances by Morgiana, the dancers of Studio Morgiana, special guests Desert Reveries, and additional performances by Sirrah Nur, Lujar, Evadne, and the Genies & Gypsies dance troupe.
