SHARING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMMON GOOD

Featuring keynote speaker, Bill Grace, Director of Common Good Works and author of "Sharing the Rock".

Bill Grace will share his vision for stewardship and communal responsibility. He will ask Bellevue residents to look at how they can ensure a healthy community for themselves and future generations. Grace will help residents reach deeply into their shared values and will push them to care for themselves and their community, based on stewardship for the common good.

Following the keynote talk, residents will participate in small facilitated discussion groups on stewardship of the common good and sharing responsibility. Focus will be on how to advance the common good in your neighborhood and in identifying key community issues to advance the common good in Bellevue.

Free and open to the public. Dessert and coffee will be provided courtesy of Your Local Market.

Bellevue Neighborhood Forums are sponsored by City of Bellevue Neighborhood Outreach, twelve neighborhood associations and Your Local Market.

A followup forum will take place on Thursday, March 29, 7-9pm at City Hall. This will feature a panel discussion on critical issues facing our community, including housing and at-risk youth.

The third forum in the series will take place on April 19, 7-9pm at City Hall. It will be a hands on workshop, led by Bill Grace, which will focus on moving from intention to action.
