Seven Artists from the Latin American and Caribbean Diaspora in CANADA

Open August 26 to November 13, 2009 (11 a.m.-6 p.m.)

The exhibition features artists born in Latin America and the Caribbean who have emigrated to Canada. The exhibit takes a closer look at their work in an attempt to understand the motivations behind the artists' proposals, in the context of contemporary art.

The artists are: Laura Barrón, Niurka Barroso, Delio Delgado, Marie-Denise Douyon, Joscelyn Gardner,
Osvaldo Ramírez Castillo, and Oscar Danilo Vargas.
