Behold the Crew of Cymry – A History of Welsh Pirates May 31, 2011

The latest exhibition at Abergavenny Museum, “Behold the Crew of Cymry – A History of Welsh Pirates”, features objects relating to pirates and seafaring, including ships models, navigational equipment and Nelson’s musket. Find out about the role of Wales and the part played by Welsh men, such as the famous pirate, Sir Henry Morgan.
The display also includes fun for all the family. With activities such as design your own pirate flag and dress up as a pirate. We will be running a Pirates Day on 30th August 2011 – check our website nearer the time for further details.
