BEGINNING OIL PAINTING

Always wanted to paint but never had the courage? NOW this beginner’s class teaches the basic elements of painting from having students study the techniques used by artists such as Gauguin, Monet and Van Gogh.

Supplies:
Paint: Windsor Newton or any other brand is fine, cadmium red medium, alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow light (or lemon yellow), cadmium yellow medium, cadmium orange, cerulean blue, ultramarine blue, dioxazine purple, titanium white and mars black
Brushes: filbert #3 - 8 and/or brights
Other: sketch book, pencils, thinner (odorless
only - Terpenoid or Gamblin, or other paint
quality), palette, canvas of any type, and
palette knife

Wednesdays, 9 a.m. - Noon
Ages 16 and Older
