Becoming Ginger Rogers September 20, 2011

Just in time for the start of season 13 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” is a special ballroom dance-themed event for everyone:
• A reading from the new book, Becoming Ginger Rogers…How Ballroom Dancing Made Me a Happier Woman, a Better Partner and a Smarter CEO, by author and AWIB board member Patrice Tanaka;
• Ballroom dance performances by“World Mambo” and “World Salsa” Champion Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine and his partner,Liana Churilova, who have been featured on“Dancing With the Stars,” “America’s Ballroom Challenge” (PBS) and “The View,” among other national TV shows;
• A group Mambo lesson by Emmanuel and Liana;
• Opportunity to purchase an autographed copy of “Becoming Ginger Rogers…” Part of the proceeds will be donated to AWIB.

Cost: $25 for Non Members, Free for Members
