Doreen Fairley's goal is to depict the beauty, serenity and mystery of the natural world. Having spent her early years in the northeast, it is that scenery that most occupies her consciousness. Her watercolors are of those rocky shores, quiet harbors, stately evergreens, startling white birches and the simple farms.
