In a rare joint appearance, national slam poetry superstar BEAU SIA
and DENNIS KIM do a benefit for Jane Kim's campaign for the San
Francisco School Board. It will be an
incredible show in an intimate venue -- don't miss it! Space is
limited; please arrive early.

BEAU SIA is a member of the original cast of the Tony Award winning
Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam on Broadway. After Broadway, he
performed on the National Tour of Def Poetry Jam in Scotland,
Australia and across the US. He has been featured on every season of
Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam on HBO. Beau was a member of two
national poetry slam championship teams and is featured in the films
"Slam" and "Slam Nation." He recently showcased his one-man show at
the 2004 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, where he won the jury

DENNIS KIM (aka DENIZEN KANE) rose to prominence as a member of
the spoken word group I Was Born With Two Tongues and as an MC with
the Typical Cats. Originally from Chicago, he was also featured on Def
Poetry Jam on HBO. Dennis Kim is not related to Jane Kim, but he still
thinks you should vote for her.

JANE KIM is a Youth Education Director in San Francisco Chinatown who
is running an exciting campaign for the San Francisco School Board.
She is a progressive Asian American candidate who has worked with over
200 students from 11 public high schools over the last 4 years.
