'Beatrice Wood: Art and Alchemy' features the work of artist Beatrice Wood, who spent her 105 years rebelling against convention and pursuing a distinctive artistic path. With ideas shaped in the New York Dada art scene of the 1910s, she went on to produce innovative ceramic vessels and sculpture. In 1994, she was named and Esteemed American Artist by the Smithsonian Institution.
