On Saturday 25 June, Armed Forces Day in Medway will be brought to its traditional close at 6pm with a Beating Retreat and Ceremonial Sunset at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
Don't miss this traditional popular event featuring the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Portsmouth, together with the Duke of York’s Royal Military School Band and the City of Rochester Pipe Band.
Tickets are available at £12.00 for a front view, £10.00 for a side view and £8.00 for a rear view.
NB: Wheelchair areas will be allocated in both Front View and Side View areas which are on hard standing, but not in Rear View which is on grass. Front View or Side View tickets therefore need to be purchased for wheelchair users.
Tickets can be purchased in the following ways:
1. Complete and return the Ticket Purchase Form with a cheque made payable to ‘Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust’ and a stamped self-addressed envelope.
2. Call 01634 823826 during normal opening hours (10am to 6pm everyday) to pay by credit or debit card. There will be a 50p per transaction postage and handling fee.
3. Purchase on line using PayPal
4. In person at The Historic Dockyard Admissions Desk during normal opening hours (10am – 6pm everyday).

This is a fund raising event in aid of Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust and the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust.
Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust is also delighted to be supporting Armed Forces Day this year by offering free daytime entry (10am – 6pm) to The Historic Dockyard - including all the galleries and attractions - for Veterans, current Service Personnel and former Dockyard workers (prior to the Dockyard’s closure in 1984). Complimentary tickets can be obtained on arrival on presentation of ID or proof of service. Up to five accompanying guests will be able to purchase ‘Guest Day Tickets’ on the day at Visitor Admissions at the reduced price of £9.50.
