Hey guys -

It is almost time for one of our biggest parties of the year - IBR Weekend! This is the final IBR and we are blowing it out with a huge party at the Cat Club. The past couple of years, we've had Bearracuda dance parties on Friday and Saturday, but we're focusing our efforts on one big night for IBR 2011.

The party in the front room kicks off at 9pm with resident DJ Medic (Bearracuda Portland, LA, Seattle, Vancouver, New Year's Eve) followed by our front room headliner: DJ Barney Philly! Barney runs Philadelphia's original weekly bear party: WOOF PHILLY! This will be his return to Bearracuda after 2 years and we're excited to have him on board.

In the main room we have our power duo that Bearracuda has been touring with for the past 6 months: Matt Consola and boyshapedbox! These guys have slayed the crowds at Bearracuda Vancouver, Atlanta & Austin and will be back for a homecoming in the main room for one night.

Boyshapedbox has been with Bearracuda since the very beginning and since played some of our most memorable events. He's been our dance floor filler in San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, New Orleans and beyond. He'll be starting off the back room at 9pm

Headling this evening we welcome DJ/Producer: MATT CONSOLA. Over the last 20 years, he's had an exciting career playing memorable events across the country and across the world. Last September, he had the honor of opening for The Pet Shop Boys at The Warfield for their Pandemonium World Tour September 22nd & 23rd 2009. http://www.DJMattConsola.com/

The Cat Club was the host to our massively packed Folsom Street Fair party, which ended being our busiest event of all time. It's located at 1190 Folsom at 8th Street in the heart of SOMA. Admission is just $8 before 10pm, or $10 after. 9pm-3am

Bearracuda is the largest attended bear dance party in the United States w/regular parties in San Francisco, Seattle, LA & Portland as well as one offs in Atlanta, Vancouver and Sydney. Voted "Best club for queer men" in 2008, 2009 & 2010 by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. We've got beards, bears, cubs, pups, chubs, beefcakes, furballs and other wildlife!
