Bear Encounter September 11, 2011

During your two-hour adventure you will learn about the Zoo's three bears, their personalities and what makes them special. You will have the opportunity to tour behind-the-scenes to see the kitchen where the bears' meals are prepared daily. Next, you will go to the training window with one of the bear trainers for a truly unique introduction to Sadie, Haines and/or Kenai. Enrichment is an important part of the bears' lives and you will experience this first-hand as you give them their enrichment items for the day. You will receive a commemorative picture of your encounter, as well as a one-of-a-kind piece of art work created for you by one of the bears.
