Joe Larson grew up in Seattle, Washington with no aspirations of being a stand up comedian. In May of 2003, realizing his dream of becoming the first person other than Oprah to be on the cover of O magazine wasn‘t going to happen on its own, Joe decided to try comedy. He wasn’t doing anything else that day and was inspired by his parents, who also don’t have real jobs. What Joe lacks in work ethic, he makes up for in spite. His father, a comedian, worked 4 hours a week and Joe aspires to someday out do him by working even less than that. In the short time Joe has been doing stand-up he has had the opportunity of performing at The Stardust in Las Vegas, The Icehouse in Pasadena, and the prestigious Buzz-Inn Steak House in Washington (somewhere along the highway). Joe made his television debut on the Spanish Channel where he was muy funny-o despite not being able to speak Spanish. Also, Joe was chosen as College Comedian of the Year at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival where he got to share the Wayne Newton Theater stage with comedy greats such as Norm Crosby, Jack Carter and Tony Danza (they didn’t let Mr. Danza talk... who‘s the boss now Tony?). Although very grateful for the use of his theater, Joe still has no clue who Wayne Newton is.
