Spring has sprung and BEAN PHX is back for another great happy hour mixer!

Please join us at Bluewater Grill conveniently located in Uptown Phoenix right off the 51 on Camelback Road. We have a lot of exciting upcoming events and service projects to discuss while mingling with BEAN PHX friends and newcomers. It will be a great opportunity for leadership, friendship, service, making new connections and having some fun!

Bluewater Grill will graciously host BEAN PHX in their private second floor lounge with some complimentary munchies. We will have the room all to ourselves with a dedicated bartender pouring us great happy hour drink and food specials starting at only $3. (Seriously a Calamari Burger Slider with Fries for only $3! And much more!)

Hope to see you there! Please extend an invitation to your friends and colleagues!

ABOUT BEAN

BEAN was created to foster lasting personal and professional connections between people of diverse backgrounds, while contributing to the greater community, through social work and volunteering. A professional organization should do more than build business connections; it should draw together exceptional individuals with strong business aspirations and a passionate belief that with personal success comes social responsibility.

By combining exceptional people and exceptional goals, we can achieve exceptional results.

Based, originally, out of Seattle, BEAN is rapidly expanding to many major U.S. and international cities including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Shanghai and now Phoenix.

Howard Wu, founder of the original BEAN in Seattle, describes BEAN this way: If you take an organization like Rotary, lower the average age by 40 years, diversify it, get rid of the meetings, membership requirements and dues, and make it easy for people to network and volunteer - that's BEAN.

CORNERSTONES

The three cornerstones of BEAN are leadership, friendship, and service. All BEAN activities are designed with these cornerstones in mind.

Leadership
BEAN will cultivate a new generation of community leaders who are connected to local issues as well as global issues. BEAN provides a variety of leadership opportunities within our organization as well as other partner organizations.

Friendship
Whether it's making new friends or meeting new business contacts, BEAN nights encourage relationship building in a casual, loosely structured setting. BEAN nights include regular networking events and cocktail socials.

Service
BEAN days allow busy professionals to contribute, no matter how much or how little time they have to give. BEAN days are days of service in which BEAN members may get their hands dirty during park restoration, or sorting tons (literally!) of food at a local food bank. BEAN day activities are meant to be diverse, with a little something for everyone.
