Bead Fest - Wire April 3, 2008

Bead Fest – Wire, the country’s only jewelry making event and consumer show exclusively for wire enthusiasts, has announced its 2008 location at Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, Pa. from April 4-6, 2008. This three-day wire jewelry extravaganza will offer hands-on jewelry making classes, with a unique emphasis on the increasingly popular category of wire jewelry, as well as opportunities to purchase supplies and professionally created jewelry.
The event is open to the general public and will feature more than 90 booths and over 40 workshops taught by bead and wire experts from around the country. Participants may register in advance or onsite for hands-on workshops at all experience levels. Various techniques that will be taught include: bead stitching, metal clay, metalsmithing, wire and beads, wire and metal, wire knitting/crocheting, and wire wrap.
