Beach House is a Baltimore, MD, two-piece dream pop, indie-rock band formed in 2004 by Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand. Their dreamy sound is similar to Mazzy Star and Nico. In 2006 they were named the 16th best album of the year by Pitchfork Media. 'Bloom' is the band's fourth full-length album and it was designed on the road, between the countless sound checks and myriad experiences gained during two years of touring.
