Be Creative at Westfield Valencia with Free Westfield Family Fun Days March 14, 2012

Be creative in March—join Westfield Valencia and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days featuring “Arts and Culture.” Kids will learn about famous artists and their mistakes—making art more accessible.

On March 14th, join us for story time starting with The Magical Garden of Monet by Laurence Anholt, a book about a chance meeting with Monet. Beautiful Oops by Barney Saltzberg follows suit, teaching children that it’s okay to make a mistake, especially where art is concerned. Kids will then tap into their own creativity and create a beautiful tissue-paper flower and enjoy a snack.
