"Be a Sport" at Westfield Brandon with FREE Westfield Family Fun Days June 21, 2012

Join us on June 21 as we take the month to celebrate Dad, while creating a fun athletic-themed experience for kids. First we will read My Daddy is a Pretzel: Yoga for Parents and Kids by Baron Baptiste, a great book that will introduce kids to yoga and connect the practice to everyday life. Afterwards we will read, Curious George at the Baseball Game by Margret & H.A. Rey, a book about the adventures of going to watch a baseball game.

The YMCA will be on-hand to teach young families about water safety and what products are available to provide a safe outdoor swimming experience. A big thanks to Dick’s Sporting Goods for providing merchandise to showcase at the event. Also, if your child is interested in playing sports over the summer, sporting league opportunities will be available through i9 sports who will be on site for league sign up.

In addition to story time, kids will make gifts especially for Dad on Father’s Day with snacks provided.
