Washington, DC – June 8th, 2008
Scheme Magazine and TASTE team up to host an all day free BBQ with Chicago based hip hop group “The Cool Kids” at The Space
(903 N st. NW Washington, DC) Sunday June 8th at 3PM.

The Cool Kids have exploded on the music scene in the past year garnering the admiration of the indie scene and MTV alike. They’ve toured performing shows and festivals both locally and internationally including Coachella, Rock The Bells, New York's CMJ music marathon, Austin's SXSW music festival and as tour openers for MIA. They are also slated to play the main stage at Guerilla Union's massively popular Rock The Bells festival this summer.

On Sunday June 8th they will be bringing the promo tour for their most recent release “The Bake Sale” to Washington DC and they will give their fans a rare chance to get up close and personal at a Free Pre-Party Barbecue at one of Washington's newest and most unique venues; The Space.

V.I.P.J. (of the Cool Kids) will provide the music along with Taste DC's DJ Portarock. The Event will be hosted by X.O. (Scheme Magazine).
Food and libations will be provided by The Space. This event is FREE TO ATTEND.
