*** Breed 77 ***

Gibraltar foursome Breed 77, (that’s "seven-seven"), have been mashing up latin, rock and metal influences since forming in 1996.

They've supported the likes of Black Sabbath, Napalm Death, Machine Head and Danzig and headlined their own tour of the UK in 2006.

Their most recent release, 'Un Encuentro' features 11 tracks sung entirely in Spanish and was offered as a download to coincide with the launch of iTunes Latino.

*** Amplifier ***

Mancunian space rockers Amplifier led by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Sel Belamir have a hefty collection of effects pedals. Such equipment helps create their wall of sound, prog influenced rock.

Their second album 'Insider' was released in 2006 with the track ‘Procedures’ receiving airplay on Radio 1. They also played the main stage at hard rock festival Download that same year.
