BayRail Alliance General Meeting October 19, 2006

Our October 19, 2006 meeting will feature Maria Ayerdi, the Executive
Director of the Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA). She will give
us an update on the Transbay Terminal/Caltrain Downtown Extension
Project. She'll be bringing a few of her engineers. Please mark your
calendars now for this important meeting, and spread the word!

Cafe Yulong is located a few blocks from the Mountain View Caltrain
station (between Castro and Hope Streets). We meet in the back room
of the restaurant.

Dinner will be available for a $10 charge, your choice of beef,
chicken, pork or tofu.

We've attempted to schedule our meetings to coordinate with north and
southbound trains, and we encourage you to ride transit to our
meeting. Finding a parking space in downtown Mountain View can be
difficult. However, there's generally room in the multi-story parking
garage located on Bryant Street between Evelyn and Villa Street.
Several surface parking lots line Bryant Street and Hope Street (the
streets that parallel Castro).
