Native Elements
Without a doubt, San Francisco's own Native Elements are one of the hardest working and most respected bands in the Northern California reggae scene.

They have been nominated for a San Francisco Weekly, Local Music Award (Wammie) and BAM Magazines, Bay Area Music Award (Bammie) for Outstanding World Beat/Reggae Club Band.

With a myriad of musical influences ranging from classic r&b soul to the deepest tradition of Jamaican and English dub, Native Elements delivers a dynamic sound that appeals to all music lovers.

Native Elements are a collective of musicians and singers who have been performing professionally in different settings for over a decade.

The culturally diverse music scene of the San Francisco Bay Area has fueled their creative flow from the start. After explorations with rock, funk, blues, and r&b, Native Elements has set their repertoire firmly in the roots-reggae tradition.
They combine their colorful influences into an amalgamation of positive, vibrant music that speaks from the heart. .

The magnetic music of Native Elements has been emanating from Bay Area clubs and outdoor festivals, for many years with Humboldts world renowned "Reggae on the River", San Franciscos "Reggae in the Park", and the "Monterey Bay ReggaeFest" festivals being the most recent.

They have shared the stage with a host of world renowned acts including Bunny Wailer, Burning Spear, Culture, Toots & the Maytals, Black Uhuru, Pato Banton, Lucky Dube, Eek a Mouse, Yellowman, Big Mountain, and Gregory Isaacs among many others. Recently, featured on the DEBUT movie soundtrack, Native Elements has been reaching audiences around the globe with their conscious music.

Their contagious harmonies and powerful rhythms have won over praise from musicians, fans and critics alike. Even some of the most discriminating Jamaican ears have found Native Elements sound to be as authentic and genuine as their staple of music back home.

With the direction and production artistry of the legendary Twinkle Brothers (Ralston Grant and Norman Grant), Native Elements has captured a Jamaican-fortified sound with universal appeal.

Their Nice n Up Records debut, Nice n Up features 9 original tracks with alternate dub versions mixed by Englands sonic sensations Derek Fevrier and Dub Judah. The diversity of singing and melodic universal rhythms bring forth a fresh element of native, roots reggae to the Bay Area music scene.

Bayonics
Bayonics is a 10 piece live hip-hop group spiced with Latin flavor, funk, and reggae, combining live instruments and hot beats with melodic singing and rapping to create a soundscape that reflects the face of urban music and culture in the Bay Area and abroad. Bayonics as performed for sold out venues from the San Francisco to Miami, including The House of Blues, Yoshi's, Independent, Ruby Skye, Elbo Room, Cafe Du Nord and the Shattuck Down Low, Humboldt County's annual Mateel Summer Arts & Music Festival, L.A.'s Temple Bar, On the Rox, and Boardners of Hollywood, and popular Miami venues such as Jazid, Tobacco Road, and Transit Lounge.
Bayonics have been featured in several different news papers and magazines such as San Francisco State's The Golden Gate [X]press, underground hip-hop magazine Stash, award-winning literary journal Youth Outlook, and most recently in the San Francisco Chronicle where they were featured on the front page of the Sunday Datebook.
