Endorsed by artist William Wiley and poets Susan Terris and Troy Jollimore, God, Seed collects original poems and art about the environment and its inevitable interactions, positive and negative, with humankind. Foust will read her poems, Stevens will discuss the development of the images, and then both author and artist will describe their collaborative process as well as the challenges of finding a publisher and of producing the book. Broadsides from God, Seed have appeared in various art shows in Marin, and a reception for a full-scale exhibition will be held at the Rebound Bookstore at 1611 4th Street San Rafael, California on December 10, 5-8 pm as part of the monthly Art Walk.

Rebecca Foust’s books include All That Gorgeous, Pitiless Song (Many Mountains Moving Prize, 2010), Mom’s Canoe (Texas Review Press 2009) and Dark Card (TRP 2008), awarded the 2007 and 2008 Robert Phillips Chapbook Prizes.
