Looking for an activity to engage the creativity of your teenager? Offered through BAVC’s Training dept, try Bavc’s signature video camp, redesigned for young people ages 14-17.

Tried and true for over seventeen years at BAVC, this intensive, hands-on video workshop is designed for the beginning videomaker. This class is an ideal introduction to all phases of production, with top-notch instruction and personal attention.

This 5-day class teaches the skills necessary to accomplish the basic preproduction, production and postproduction processes. In the span of the class, students will go through mini-production planning, shooting, and editing a group video project.

Topics covered: Basic engineering, lighting, and sound Preproduction planning, scripting, storyboarding, video camera operations, production and directing techniques, working as a team throughout the production process, and editing on Final Cut Pro 6.
