Batucada Sound Machine + Global Grooves Club Night June 30, 2012

Global Grooves and Band on the Wall present the New Zealand samba reggae funk band followed by the Global Grooves DJs spinning it out loud until the early hours.

Batucada Sound Machine began when five drummers met to experiment fusing Brazilian batucada rhythms with Pacific soul. Before long, a diverse group of talented musicians gravitated towards the infectious music and a band was formed. Since then, BSM has continued to experiment, not just with Brazilian, but also Cuban and Afro-beat rhythms, adding hip-hop, carefully crafted percussion, slick horns and soulful vocals
