Join us to celebrate the re-opening of Basing House and see Civil War history brought to life! Each day offers a chance to learn about the historical significance of Basing House and events that happened there during the Civil War.


On Saturday we are recreating Spring 1643 and a storm is brewing at Basing House. On Sunday and Monday experience a spectacular battle re-enactment with over five hundred Roundheads and Cavaliers from the Sealed Knot.


The battle runs from 2pm until 3.30pm, with much more to see on site throughout the day. An early chance to see the refurbished Basing House site, including the newly reopened Museum. Please follow AA signs to the events free car parking on the Basingstoke Common accessed via the A30, then off Park Lane, Old Basing, RG24 7HH.
