Basement Basement September 26, 2007

Basement Basement is a collection of films celebrating
Ayton Basement, the artist run space that opened on
the Quayside in 1976.Artists who worked there went
on to be active in London Film Makers Co-op,
London Musicians Collective, and London Video Arts;
and Ayton Basement became the Basement Group,
then Projects UK, and continues today in Newcastle
as Locus+.

Shadow and Candid Arts Trust Basement Gallery.
