Legendary Detroit pianist Dr. Barry Harris has, for the the past several decades, been an exponent of the classic Jazz style that was developed by Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk and Coleman Hawkins. Harris has performed and recorded with Cannonball Adderly, Coleman Hawkins and Dexter Gordon among many others.
