The University of St. Thomas English Department and Friends of the Doherty Library invite you to an evening with Barrie Scardino & Jerry Bradley at 7 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the Doherty Library, 1100 W. Main.
Barrie Scardino is an award-winning architectural writer who has published numerous articles and lectured on Texas architecture. She is former managing editor of Cite Magazine: The Architecture and Design Review of Houston and has co-authored three books on architecture.
Jerry Bradley is a Professor of English at Lamar University. He is the author of five books and more than one hundred fifty published stories and poems. He has published more than thirty critical articles and eighty reviews; he has received more than forty grants in support of his literary activities, including grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Witter Bynner Poetry Foundation, and the New Mexico Arts Division.
