Baroque Orchestra April 8, 2011

The University of Virginia McIntire Department of Music presents the Baroque Orchestra at 8pm on Friday, Apil 8th, 2011 in Old Cabell Hall. The Baroque Orchestra is a period instrument ensemble made up of students, graduate students, facutly and community members who explore the musical repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries. The ensemble performs under the direction of David Sariti.This ensemble gives students the rare opportunity to learn and play on period insturments under the direction of experienced performers.
