Barn Dance October 9, 2010

Swing your partner and do-si-do with your partner at Soli deo Musica's Barn Dance at Living History Farms, Saturday October 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
You can get to line-dance, right-and-left grands and other steps which will make this evening a memorable one for you.
The dance, which will take place in the Flynn Barn, features the Barn Owl Band, which has played at various venues around central Iowa and even appeared on A Prairie Home Companion when that public radio show did a broadcast from the C.Y. Stephens Auditorium in Ames. The Friends of Ruth, the women's group at Faith Lutheran Church, will provide free hot cider and popcorn as well as host a craft and bake sale.
The Flynn Barn is located on the grounds of Living History Farms, just to the northeast of the Interstate-35/80 junction with Hickman Road.
The dance is sponsored by Soli deo Musica, the fine arts program sponsored by Faith Lutheran Church of Clive, Iowa.
