Bark in the ParkTM is a fundraising event hosted by the Naglee Park neighborhood's Campus Community Association. All proceeds benefit the CCA, Humane Society Silicon Valley, and San Jose Animal Services.

Bring Your Dog and Its Best Friend.

Come spend a fun-filled day of canine capers and doggy delights at Bark in the ParkTM. A day the whole family can spend together, whether your family is you and your dog or maybe lots of two- and four-legged friends!

There will be lots of activities for everyone to enjoy including contests, performances, demonstrations, live music, kids activities, rescue organizations and specialty vendors. Please come and join in the festivities!

You can also learn a lot about dog care, dog service, how dogs help others and how you can help other dogs.

What: Naglee Park's "Bark in the ParkTM"
When: Saturday, September 20, 2008 - 10 AM to 5 PM
Where: William Street Park - San Jose, California

A $5 donation per registered dog is requested.

A portion of the proceeds benefits the Humane Society Silicon Valley and San Jose Animal Care Center, "To promote respect for all animal life in our community through direct care and education."

Remember: All pets must be on a leash. Pick up after your dog. Most importantly, respect private property. Be careful about letting your dog sniff other dogs; let them get adjusted to each other first. And then they can PLAY!

Parking: Attendees may park in the Naglee Park neighborhood, but please don't block the driveways. There will be a drop-off location at the park and directions to nearby parking areas while they last. You are encouraged to car pool or utilize public transportation when practical.

"The success of 'Bark in the Park' is no fluke. It's the result of people who believe in their community working together with others toward a common goal."
