Forty tons of sand make a Beach Party in the Boro!

Who says you have to drive to Florida to play in the sand? As a kick-off for summer in the city, Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation will haul in forty tons of sand to create a Beach Party on Friday, May 9 at 5:00p.m. in Barfield Crescent Park. Join in the fun as we build sand castles for a contest, play limbo and carnival games, groove to beach music and more! All ages are welcome to join in the fun! In case of inclement weather, the schedule rain date is May 10.
