Barefoot Puppets: Galapagos George July 15, 2009

This show was inspired by the true story of "Lonesome George," a giant tortoise who was discovered in 1971 on an island in the Galapagos where his species was believed to have become extinct. Set to music, puppets of sea lions, lizards, blue-footed birds and a growing tortoise cavort on an island stage while the audience watches George's story unfold. George is just a hatchling when the show starts, but he sure does get big!
