Bare Witness: Photographs by Gordon Parks April 26, 2007

This exhibition displays photographs by Gordon Parks, an African American photographer, filmmaker and author. He documented crime and poverty, as well as glamour. He tackled the harsh truth and dignity of the black urban and rural poor in the United States. These 73 photographs were selected by the artist as some of the finest examples of his work.
